  • Professor and Chairman, Maxillofacial Department, Nasser Institute Hospital, and Research Center. Cairo [850 beds]: It is the hospital designated to be the final referral centre for all ministry of health cases. It deals only with the uncommon sub specialties as spinal surgery, bone marrow transplant, open heart, cranio-Maxillofacial surgery, . . .etc Variety of cases includes correction of facial deformities, cranio-facial surgery (in association with neurosurgeons), tumours of the head and neck including reconstruction, dental implantology and distraction osteogensis.  Two clinics and four operation sessions per week. We have done an extensive amount of work on [Approaches to T.M.J. ankylosis – How to prevent ectropion in subciliary approach to the Zygomatico-orbital fractures – Correction of facial asymmetry and occlusal cant by distraction osteogensis – Reconstruction of the mandibular bone defect using El-Mekkawi external segment transfer distractor. Craniofacial surgery: fronto-orbital advancement, cranial stenosis, orbital repositioning, cranioplasties, and reconstruction of skull defects (in association with the neurosurgeons)] from 15/9/96 - till now.

  • Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon to Egypt Air Hospital, Cairo [350 beds]: It is hospital dealing with general plus some special surgeries they have very good facilities (C.T., M.R.I., Modem Laboratory, Fully Equipped I.C.U.).
